- Step 1- Turn it to the off position or the lowest percent of humidity.
- Step 2- If your humidifier has duct dampers, close the bypass duct damper or turn it to the summer position.
- Step 3- Turn off the water supply to the humidifier. Follow the quarter-inch water line from the humidifier. Turn the valve clockwise until it stops.
- Step 4- Don’t forget to clean the humidifier. Replace the water panel and leave it to dry until winter.
